The App was conceptualised to provide women the information on whom, where and how to register the complaint, provide the youth an interactive platform to share their experiences and concerns. It spreads awareness on laws, rights and provisions provided by government on violence against women. The app is equipped with all necessary information for women in the district Gautam Budh Nagar in the state of Uttar Pradesh. In an emergency, women can immediately call the nearest police station by just pressing police station icon and pressing Near Me button that will show the contact details of the nearest police station from user’s current location. The mobile app also provides safety tips, do and don’ts when women are traveling alone in public and private vehicles, etc. To redress the issues of domestic violence, there is section that provides information how to file an FIR (First Information Report), its importance and protocol.
